Interestingly enough.

Interestingly enough.

As I was flipping through the channels this Saturday morning, I stopped on the only decent thing on; The Daily Show. Christopher Buckley was on. I have heard of him before but never really knew who he was. After reading up on this man and listening to what he had to say, I really think of him as a true, bad ass role model. This man has done it all. His journlistic opinons are much mroe refreshing than the usual satiric, bone crushing opinions of other mediocre so-called “journalists.” I’ve read a few of his blogs on “The Daily Beast” (what a hell of a name) and perfusely agreed with almost everything he was saying. I was impressed. Even with the things I didn’t agree with, it still impressed me. After reading about his National Review resignation, I was laughing at how that even came about. The way the media works will never seize to make me chuckle. So basically what I’m trying to say is, Christopher Buckley is a hell of a journalist and I’m planning on reading his new book, Supreme Courtship, as well as a few others. I also found out he wrote Thank You For Smoking, which was turned into a movie that I call one of my favorites!

In other news, I’m grounded. Probably for just a couple days, but still. It’s weird, because I’m never grounded or given weird limitations. No one in my family really was. No phone, myspace/facebook, and car for awhile. But at least my family from Virginia, College Station and Dallas are here!

My Craig David, M83, Robin Thicke, and MGMT obsession is occupying my time for now. Until next time, I bid thee farewell.
